What Causes Pounding Headache After Urinating In Morning?

Hi. It been a couple of days that i get a pounding headache after peeing in the morning. And sometimes it stays with me through the day. I was wondering weather it's simply the result of chemical imbalance.
No history of tumors,or any kind of brain problems.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Lack of sleep and dehydration also cause headache problem. Low blood sugar level also cause headache. Over use of alcohol drinking and smoking may aggravate a condition. Any ear or TMJ problem may cause referred pain at head.

Mention the intensity and duration of pain with aggravating factor that will help in diagnosis. Detail history and physical examination give exact idea. Consult a neurologist for further diagnosis.

I hope my guidance is helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rachana Goswami
