What Causes Pregnancy Like Symptoms When On POCOS Treatment?
Hi doctor, Iam 24 year old married woman with pcos.iam undergoing treatment to regular my periods.my last periods was on 19th dec 2013 and my ovulation on 28-29 of dec.we r trying for pregnany .i had taken duphadton for 5 days from 6 to 10 of jan but still no periods.inetween on 19 of jan i had taken urine n blood pregnany test,whichbturned out to be negavtive.is there any chance of me being pregnant.i have got some sympotos like abdomin cramps,tendre breast,vaginal discharge and light spoting.pls do give me a reply

According to your description:
- Your last menstrual period date is December 19th.
- You didn't mention why you have taken Duphaston tablets for five days in the middle of the month.
If it is to induce the withdrawal bleeding, sometimes it may take around 10 days to get. Abdominal cramps, breast tenderness, vaginal discharge and spotting may indicate that you may get periods soon. But sometimes few of these symptoms can be seen in pregnancy also.
In case of pregnancy, urine pregnancy test kit may not give accurate result immediately after missed period, but blood test for pregnancy usually gives accurate result. So, there is more possibility to get periods in your case according to the history.
