What Causes Premature Ventricular Contractions Along With Tinnitus?

Do PVC s and ringing in the ears mean anything? I have an artificial mitral valve (titanium) and a history of A-fib. 2 electro-ablations and a maise procedure. I am currently experiencing PVC s every 3rd or 4th beat and pressure and ringing in the ears. Should I be concerned about this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, a fresh holter study to measure the amount of PVCS maybe needed along with medical therapy with beta blockers like bisoprolol.

Tinnitus can trigger PVCS and vice versa. An ENT specialist review should also be sought for ear-related causes of tinnitus.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
