What Causes Presence Of Sludge In The Pancreatic Duct?

I have a friend who has had sludge removed from a pancreatic duct the past two years via endoscophy. Is it something she is eating that causes the sludge. She also has no gall bladder. She has had a stent placed a year ago and then removed and another stent place just recently.Thank you. YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Food has got no relation with pancreatic duct stones formation. It is due to the action of enzymes and some inherent problems of pancreas.
You have to keep in mind that presence of sludge can cause recurrent attacks of pancreatitis.

Hope I have answered your query.
