What Causes Pressure And Pain In Chest And Head?
Hello,I am a forty six year old woman, and I am experiencing a slight pressure and ache in my chest and head.Within the past week, I ve felt my heart flutter a few times. I ve also had two times when I ve just been stopped in my tracks by a slight pressure in my chest. I ve been on sertraline for about three years, and have gained weight. I m wondering if my weight is contributing to this. My blood pressure is a bit high but not dangerous.

Having these symptoms like gaining weight, constipation pressure in the chest, fluttering sensation are common symptoms of having depression.
But as you are 46 years any cardiac ailments should be ruled out.
Go for EKG and cardiac enzyme test to rule out any cardiac problem.
