For the past couple of days now i have been experiencing pressure all around my head, this is worse in the morning and night. In the morning I find it difficult to pick my head off the pillow and in the night I find it hard to lie down. I am a migraine sufferer so I put it down on that. However, i have lately been forgetting what I am talking about mid-sentence and also forgetting how to spell simple words at times. 3 months ago I had a septorhinoplasty & FESS. I was told by my surgeon that my sinuses were severely wired wrong and this was my anatomy. With this pressure pain, I am also getting neck pain and I am always tired.
Hello ! I read your question and understand your concern. Your symptoms are very indicative for tension type headache. It can be caused by contraction of your scalp muscles. This type of headache is often superposed on migraine . A cervical disk degeneration may cause similar troubles but the pain is initially in the back and than spreads all over the head. The pressure change on your sinuses may be another cause, but you have been living with your sinuses all your life. The problems with concentration may be another symptom of tension type headache. So I would recommend treatment with Amytriptiline or any other antidepressant for the headache, which should be started slowly to avoid side effects. Hope to have been of help.
