What Causes Pressure Around The Eyes And Temple Upon Coughing?

when i cough i get massive pressure in my head the all the way around to my temple area and eye sockets. The pressure when i cough becomes so strong i feel like i might pass out. The only way i can release the pressure is to push on my temples or the nap of my neck. What is causing this?
