What Causes Pressure Feeling In Center Of Chest Followed By Indigestion?

For a period of 2 weeks I have been sporadically having a pressure feeling in the center of my chest followed by mild acid reflux or indigestion. It only lasts for 3 to 5 minutes each time. Should I be concerned? I don't have health insurance and can't really afford to go to the doctor to get checked. Thank you so much!

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

According to history provided by you here you can have following possibility...
-Pain by acid re flux(referred pain)
-Musculoskeletal pain
-Bronchitis (if cough present)

Take rest...
Avoid strenous exercise...
For pain analgesic can be taken...
Hot pad applied over chest for relief from pain....

For acid reflux take pentoprazole ..
Head elevated while sleeping...

For rule out bronchitis chest x ray can be done.....

If still no improvement further work up done with ecocardiograpy , tread mill test and D dimer ...
D dimer is for rule out pulmonary embolism if suspected.(sudden increase chest pain )....

Take care
