Hello,

Pressure in the chest & discomfort with difficulty in breathing is commonly due to GERD, Angina, hypertension, cardiovascular disease or heart attack.

Stay away from oily food, take fiber rich food, avoid constipation, stay away from addictions if any. For relief you can take antacids & PPI's.

You are suggested to visit ER, get physically examined. Get Blood workouts & investigations(ECG, Echo, X-Ray, lipid function tests, stress tests) done to detect any cardiac problem developing.

Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
