What Causes Pressure In Ear Along With Dizziness While Suffering With Cold?
I have had a severe cold for more than three weeks. Today I was blowing my nose, and my left ear popped (yesterday it was my right ear). I got extremely dizzy, and couldn t even stand up. Eventually the dizziness went away, but it my ear still has a lot of pressure in it. Also, if my snot is green, and in-between my eyebrows is really sensitive, is it possible that I could have a sinus infection since it hasn t cleared up in over three weeks? Should I go in to a clinic tomorrow?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. As there is no headache or tenderness of cheek and eyebrows; hence you have no sinus infection. You have a temporary eustachian tube blockage, that normally equalizes pressure on both sides of ear drum. That's Why you feel pressure in your ear. All that you need is decongestant, steam inhalation and saline gargles. Hope it helps best. Don't forget to rate this answer. Take your best care. Regards Dr Ejaz
