What Causes Pressure In Head Along With Pain At The Base Of Skull?

I am 44 years old and since I was 21 I have had headaches EVERY day..they DON T go away. Then a few times a week I have VERY severe headaches..it s a lot of pressure in my head and severe pain in the base of my skull and neck. Any idea what could be causing these?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is the functional headache and may not be due to any cerebral disease most of the time tension headache is the cause, if you have not done CT of brain then get this done else you can try some tranquilizer and best choice would be "Tab Chlordiazepoxide" three times in day hope this information helps.
