Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. The symptoms like pounding headache, lightheadedness etc are occurring most likely as complication of anxiety. You have problems of anxiety and also problems of insomnia so most likely this is contributing the lightheadedness, though proper evaluation is needed to make proper diagnosis. In my opinion you shouldn't ignore these symptoms and consult a psychiatrist for management.
For lightheadedness, insomnia and anxiety medicines like Amitriptyline can be used. The drug will help in good sleep and will provide relief from headache also. Drugs like Propranolol or Atenolol can be used for preventing the anxiety episodes and will help in reducing the headache also. In more severe conditions SSRIs can be used. Please consult a psychiatrist for prescription of these drugs.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
