What Causes Pressure In Head With Clogged Feeling In Ear?

I had alot of pressure in my head for the last 4-5 months, blocked feeling in left ear. Then my left ear started draining for the last month or so. Then three days ago I was driving and my ear started to drain again, but this time it was bright red blood. I had tubes put in about 8 years ago. I didn't have any pain in my ear at all. I did go to emergency and they gave me ears drops and pills. I will go to my family doctor, but I was just wondering what treatment or tests they might do? I also have had migraines everyday for a month or so. Thank you

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain pressure in head, migraines along with clogged feeling in ear and ear discharge seems to be due to Sinus infection leading to pressure in head due to inflamed Frontal sinuses and pain and discharge from ear is due to ear infection..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS View x ray of sinuses and Otoscopy of ear will help in proper diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
The physician can advise you a curse of antibiotic to reduce infection, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants oral as well as nasal sprays, antibiotic ear drops,steam inhalations..
Avoiding water exposure to ears like swimming, ear picking and exposure to loud sound should be prohibited..
