What Causes Pressure In The Back And Shoulder Blades?

Thank you. I have had tightening across my back below the shoulder blades today and about a week ago. It lasts 3-5 minutes and makes me feel very uncomfortable. Then I m fine. I have a history of sinus tachycardia and some afib and am on meds for that.

The possibilities are -

1. Muscular spasm due to stress and anxiety.
2. Costochondritis
3. Hypocalcemia.

I suggest you approach your PCP with these suggestions and get evaluated, please.
