What Causes Pressure In The Bladder?

I have a strange heaviness on my bladder, no blood in the urine, no pain like I normally get from a bladder infection, I feel a throbbing when I sit & an urge to go. I am 57 and have not had a period for 10 years? This has been going on for a month or so, & sometimes I don t feel anything, coffee does trigger it as well.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Seems possible cystitis with or without infection. Primary guidelines:
- drink plenty of liquids
- avoid caffeine products as chocolates, coffee
- cranberry sachet once daily in a glass of drinking water
- keep blood sugar under control.

Do follow up online after 48 hours or early as per the need.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
