What Causes Pressure In The Chest, Breathing Difficulty And Cold Sweats?

Hello, im a 25 year old female and for the past couple days i have been having pressure on my chest thats making it hard to breathe at times, i feel overly exhausted and i have been having cold sweats. I am a very healthy person that exercises regularly and eats healthy, i do not smoke but i do drink often. Could this be something serious? Im very concerned but unfortunately do not have health insurance to go to a doctors office.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely your symptoms are due to stress and anxiety. It is good you do not smoke and do not use alcohol. It is advisable to not use much coffee or energy drinks such as cola, either.
You may need to make sure you have a good work-life balance and you rest enough.

Sometimes psychotherapy and medications may be needed.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
