What Causes Pressure In The Ears And Vertigo?

I have been dealing with fullness in my ears, a low humming sound, hearing loss and sinus pressure, neck discomfort and some occasional vertigo. I have been on a round of antibiotics; have been to an ENT, twice; had a CT scan at my requet, the results were unremarkable . This is really getting old and I am not getting any relief. My next step is to see my dentist to see about possible TMJ. Do you have any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Meniere disease is a possible cause of fullness in the ears, hearing loss and vertigo, so I would advise you to have an audiogram and tympanogram. These tests will evaluate the middle ear space and also the hearing and if certain types of hearing loss are identified to lead to a diagnosis.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
