What Causes Pressure In The Head And Dizziness?

I have a full headed feeling that makes me feel woozy --- not spinning --- just like I m always consciously compensating for balance and I feel like I m in a fog and can t think and struggle to multitask. I do not have headaches but the fullheaded feeling and wooziness can be exhausting and my ears never feel like they will really pop

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You have a feeling of being woozy and do not have an actual giddiness or vertigo as per your history.

I would advise you the following in such a situation:

Consult a Neurologist in your area to get a confirmed clinical evaluation to be supported by proper investigations like MRI of the brain, mastoids and whichever you Doctors suggest.

Also, go for Blood tests like serum electrolytes as low calcium and potassium can cause such feeling.

The treatment necessarily depends upon the findings. If all the investigations are normal then this may be related to the psychological problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
