What Causes Pressure In The Head While Bending And On Metformin For Insulin Resistance?

Hi Dr. Rogala,

For the past few days I have been experiencing quite painful pressure in my head. The pain increases when I bend over or tilt my head in a downwards motion. I am currently on sulfasalzine and hydroxycholoroquine for my rheumatoid arthritis, in addition to metformin for my insulin resistance.

Hello,
The pain in head could be due to cervical spondylitis or due to high blood pressure or may be due to acute sinusitis.
Youmusy consult your doctor for physical examination and relevant investigations to find the cause.
Treatment would depend upon the cause.
