What Causes Pressure In The Head?

I m having head pressure in head upper side.since last 9 months lots of treatments had taken but the releif i got by betcap40 mg & mytrip 10mg in evening 9 o clock daily ..i am taking these madicines last 7 months...but i have got several side effects by this tablets.please tell me how can i leave these madicines & relief from the headache. regards Sunil chuahan.........please suggest as soon as possible. 0000

Hi,

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you need to have a detailed neurological examination done preferably by a neurologist and if needed CT brain may be needed.

Fundus eye exam to look for signs of raised pressure may be needed. Blood work up including electrolytes and thyroxine levels may also be helpful.

If unremarkable psychiatrist review and psychological evaluation may also be needed to rule out underlying anxiety disorders.
