What Causes Pressure In The Sinuses And Ears With Headache?

my name is Janie and I am 49 years old, i know i have a sinus infection and just need to get a zpac perscription. I do not have health insurance. my symptons are , sinus pressure, pressure in ears, headache and my snot has went from clear last Friday to yellow today, i also have a sore throat from the drainage

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that discharge of yellow snot along with sinus pressure and ear pressure is an indication of infection in the sinuses leading to Sinusitis and pressure in ears can be due to fluid accumulation behind the eardrums and also ear infection..
As the post nasal drip contains infected mucous therefore it can cause infection and inflammation in throat leading to sore throat..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Do warm compresses around nostrils..
