Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A couple of nights ago, I awoke with pressure in the solar plexus area. It was pain/pressure that lasted about 10-15 minutes. Had this one or two times before in last year. Now, it feels as though as I have something stuck in that area. When I swallow, it acts like its a little hard to swallow and it hurts - not to large degree, but quite uncomfortable. I have a small abdominal aneurysm, but I don t think that s related.
Okay it is practically impossible for a human being to know that the area is precisely a solar plexus area. From all the information you have provide I assume you are talking about the epigastric and left hypochondriac area of abdomen where you are experiencing pain. The pain or pressure you are experiencing is bearable and you suffer from it occasionally. Except this you have not mentioned about any lump or any other symptom. Its very difficult to come to a conclusion with a history like this. I can only be assuming and answering you. You should either get yourself consult via a local doctor if feel concerned or you can post another query with a proper description of your symptoms and sign. Take Care
