Hi,

Several conditions could potentially cause pressure, numbness, and tingling in the head and neck. Some possible causes include:
* Migraines: Migraines can cause a range of symptoms, including head pressure, numbness, tingling, and dizziness.
* Sinusitis: Sinus infections or inflammation can cause pressure in the head, as well as congestion, facial pain, and postnasal drip.
* Neck problems: Issues with the cervical spine, such as a pinched nerve or herniated disc, can cause numbness, tingling, and pain in the neck, as well as the head.
* Anxiety or stress: Emotional or psychological stress can cause physical symptoms, including head pressure, dizziness, and tingling.
* Neurological conditions: Certain neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis or peripheral neuropathy, can cause head and neck symptoms.

It is important to see a doctor or healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis, as the appropriate treatment will depend on the underlying cause. They may refer you to a specialist, such as a neurologist if needed. If your symptoms are severe or worsening, seek medical attention immediately.

Hello,

You are suffering from numbness and tingling in the head and neck. You are also experiencing pressure. You also feel dizzy and light headed. You have been on Z pack and antibiotics for the last 4 weeks. Since you have been on medicines for a prolonged period of time, you are experiencing the side effects of the medications you have been taking.

You are suggested to contact your doctor who prescribed you the medicines so that necessary actions can be taken and you start feeling better. You may stop taking the medicines for a while after consulting your GP. Symptoms of dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position can occur also due to low blood pressure, low blood sugar, vertigo and generalized weakness.

Numbness and tingling in the head and neck can be due to developing neurological problems. Get Nerve conduction velocity teat, EMG, etc., done. Include vitamin B6, B12 rich food in your daily diet and also supplements for nerve repair and better nerve health. Get clinically examined by a neurologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
