Hi about two months ago I was having nose issues my nose just had a lot of pressure and felt so uncomfortable it was hard to sleep as weird as it sounds my nose felt out of place. So I decided to finally go in the ears, throat and nose specialist looked in my nose seen nothing but noticed I had a bump on my nose and a bruise so she ordered a ct scan. I also wanted her to take a camera and look in my throat because for a years I have had issues I had my tonsil out and still expericened throats I explained my symptoms to a doctor before this doctor and he told me it sounds like I have a scarred esophagus and I would have to see a specialist but she refused to look in my throat. Any how I missed my ct scan because my nose felt better and the bruise was gone. a week or two later the same pain came back I tried to ignore it but latley it has gotten worse all my sinuses hurt behind my eyes my nose and my forehead i have postnasal drip which is nothing to me because i have had that for years every morning i would have to cough up thick phlem that is yellow I had ear pain for first time the other day and the other night I was having trouble breathing and talking and now today my nose hurts so bad and I have a headache on my left side of my forehead I reschedule a ct scan but had to cancel again beause my insurance was shut off so I have to wait until next week what is going on with me? could it be a nose injury or sinus problem i dont know what to do I am a 19 year old female
Based on the history you have shared, you may need oral antibiotics and decongestants. Steam inhalations and ENT specialist review may be needed. Nasal decongestant drops may also be used.
