What Causes Pressure Under Ribs?

I can breathe fine... But am having pressure in right in the v under the ribs. Sometimes moves to back. I don t know if a heart attack feels this way. I just got biometric scan and all my numbers were great! I do know that I ate raw oysters... And am wondering if I am sick from that. I do have some gas wondering if that could be it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pressure under the ribs can be related to many medical conditions. Based on the fact that you feel bloated, the symptoms can be related to indigestion. I recommend to use an over the counter treatment such as Simethicone medication to relieve the bloating. I also suggest to use a fiber rich diet and drink liquids.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
