What Causes Prickling Sensation On/off In Vagina During Pregnancy?

hi i have had a prickling feeling on and off high in my vaginal area recently , im approx 23 weeks pregnant , ive been told that my placenta is currently low lying but may rise as my pregnancy proceeds this is my 4th baby but my last was 6 years ago so i cant remember having this feeling so early on can you help , ? many thanx

Hello, yes it will progress upper side so probably nothing to worry as yet but just take as much rest as possible and avoid intercourse and get a repeat scan at 32 weeks.
this is not seen in all pregnancies and is there only in 2-4% cases that is why it was not there in your first pregnancy
