What Causes Prickly Pains In My Limbs?

I have recently had an ECG and an ECHO doppler as a result of going to the doctor's with chest pain. The ECG showed that there was a blockage in the left side of the heart. I will have and angiogram on 15 October. However, I have had pins and needles for a few days, first mainly in my arm and hands, now also in my leg around my ankles. I would like to know whether I need to have this checked or what the underlying problem could be.
