What Causes Prickly Sensation In Throat?
Hi I am suddenly experiencing a sharp prickly sensation in my throat. It hurts bad and I am unable to even inhale deeply because of the pain. What shall I do? P.S. I have a history of sinus (frequent throat infections and breathing problems) and was diagnosed recently with mild asthma. But I have never had this kind of prickly pain.

Get the Sinusitis confirmed bya CT scan of the sinuses and get this treated to avoid such problems as you have now.
The feeling is due to acute granular pharyngitis or exacerbation of the chronic form.
Nothing to worry about Cancer or so. Cancer does not pain like this in the initial periods.
Get a proper long term course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines and decongestants oral as well as topical as nasal drops.
