What Causes Profuse Sweating?

I am 67 years old and have severe sweating. IT STARTED A FEW MONTHS AGO. I AM ON THYROID MEDICINE AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND PAXIL AND CHOLESTERAL MEDS. MY DR. HAS PRESCRIBE GABAPENTIN 100 MG. FOR IT. HE SEEMS TO THINK ITS MENOPAUSE. I WENT THROUGH MENOPAUSE YEARS AGO. COULD IT BE POST MENOPAUSE AFTER ALL THIS TIME OR SIDE EFFECTS FROM THYROID MEDS ?

thyroid stimulating harmone levles can be varying inspite of your medications altering the doses or missing the doses can vary tsh t3 and t4 levels any change in these levles can cause profuse sweating so once check your thyroid profile and consult your physcian
