What Causes Prolonged And Heavy Bleeding Post Periods?
Hi, my name is Jennifer Fullman. I been having my period now 16 days and it s not stopping. What should I do? I am anemia was anemia ever since I was 16years old and my blood count went down to a 6 but now it at 11 that the highest it will go. I was on birth control as a teenager but as a adult o haven t taking it ever since I had kids because it was normal but this is the first time in a long time since it lasted this long. I am get scared..

You are right, 16 days is too much. While it's common in females but it needs assessment and manafwm2. A number of drugs like Ponstan Forte, Duphaston may be used to stop the bleeding.
But it's necessary to get few tests done especially a scan and to Chek for your blood level. It may necessary to take iron and folic acid tablet to replenish the blood.
