What Causes Prolonged Breakthrough Bleeding While On Hydroxycut Black?

I am 19 years old and have been on Birth Control for about a year (same one). I am currently on Mononessa (Birth Control) and last week I started taking Hydroxicut Black. It started making me have break through bleeding so I stopped taking it. I am still experiencing the break through bleeding and I am very worried!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Usually regular intake of oral contraceptive pills do not pause breakthrough bleeding, unless there is discrepancy in its dose intake. Now as there is menorrhagia, it is recommended to consult your OBGYN for prescription of Primolut-N with tranexemic acid for a period of 3-5 days depending upon the clinical severity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
