HI. I am para. I am unmarried never have sexual relation, my age is 23 but i have missing periods. right now my weight is 64 height is 5.2. it has been for 2 years of periods irregularity and now for 1 year i does not have my menses once even you can understand better by this that my last menses was on 6-09-2014 and up till now i missed them... i have consult gynecologist for a year i used many medicine of iron etc and medical tests as well but with this i just have two times periods in year 2014 14 august and 6 sep. i disappointed and left that treatment year ago. it has been an year passed of my missing periods. please help me out regard this..

HI, I understand your concern. Absence of menses for one year needs to be taken care of immediately. - Use of contraceptives can cause it, but it does not apply to your case. - though there are many causes for such problem, in your case it seems to be hormonal imbalance ( pitutory, thyroid, ovarian hormones or testesteron hormones), POlycystic ovarian disease,attempt to loose weight with crash diet,emotional stress . * You need to get investigated ( hormonal assessment/ CT scan/ MRI/ USG scan along with an endocrinologist's/ gynecologist's advise for cause specific management & you will be normal after that.
