What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding Despite Taking Meprate?

I am advised to take meprate three times a day as i was bleeding even after normal periods.my usg report tells of multiple uterine fibroid largest one measuring 28mm*23.9mm in anterior myometrium.posterior one is20.7*19.7mm without compression on uterine endometrium.initially my bleeding stopped for 2 days.but today i am again bleeding heavily with clots.today is my 4th day to have meprate.please advice

Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, fibroids cause increased periods and irregular. There can be tumors that can cause it and it is a reason to get a scraping to evaluate, but fibroids are quite common.
