General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would continue Primolut and if you notice that your periods have not stopped in a total of 24-48 hours from starting Primolut, it is best to go back to the doctor and have a gynecological exam and also a pap smear, cervical samples for chlamydia and gonorrhea and transvaginal ultrasound.

According to the test results, the doctor will have an understanding of the cause of the bleeding and also will decide on further management.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.

Regards,
