What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding, Headaches And Constipation?
I am 51 days into my cycle. Pregnancy urine test and blood done at 40 days into cycle. What could be causing the long cycle. I am usually 31 days with a 3 day period. No stress or issues. Little trouble sleeping headaches necklaces constipation hot flashes heartburn no period weight loss 13 lbs not in a fast amount of time probably 6 months it took to drop the weight. Tired all the time.

The constipation, heavy menses with headache and hot flashes at the age of 51 may be indicative of pre menopausal changes in terms of developing estrogen deficiency. Do discuss the issue with your treating doc for management with hormone supplementation.
