What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding While On Petogen?

hi, i started using petogen in december 2016, and was due for another one on the 27th of feb this year, then i went on for my periods for almost over 3 weeks. then i had my next shot on the 24th of march instead of 27th of feb . so after my last shot, after 2 weeks, my periods started agin. i am now on the third week of my periods. please help. is this normal ?

Hi, I think it can happen occasionally. It can be a side effect of petogen. I think you can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If it doesn't work, you may need high dose of progesterone to stop the bleeding. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Probably, it will go away on its own. Hope it helps.
