What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding With Cramps?

just after i came off my period last month i started to have discharge and it lasted till my next period which was unusually heavy and lasted 3 days longer than usual i have also been having severe headaches, sickness and generally dont feel myself, also i came off my period yesterday and i am having bad period like cramping..... what could this be?
