What Causes Prolonged Menstruation While On Duphaston?

Hi doctor, My dr prescribed me duphaston10mg 2 times a day on 11 th day to 26day.for reducing my heavey ,irregular mensess.now its being 7th days my bleeding havent stoped yet.should i wait until 11 th day to start this medicing.?? Pls help me. Thank you.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Usual dosage of Duphaston for correction of menstrual problems is from 11th day to 25th as has been advised to you. Some times on stopping the drug there may be a bit heavier bleeding. You will have to wait till 11 th day for beginning the next cycle of dosage. Thanks.
