What Causes Prolonged Menstruation With Abnormal Bleeding?

ive been on my period for 13 days now, first couple of days were light bleeding. third day seemed like a normal period with a heavier flow and cramps. after a couple of days became light again and have been spotting since with mucusy like blood, any explanation?

Hello,

You should take an appointment with gynecologist and make some examinations like pap smear, blood test, pelvic ultrasound. There are many reasons for menorrhagia like medication, hormone imbalance, endometriosis so is better to consult with gynecologist.
