What Causes Prolonged Menstruation?

I m 41 and hav had my period for 10 days. It stops especially at night and after I use the bathroom in the morning it bleeds not heavy tho. Then for the most part I Barely change my pad during the day. What could this be. I was also told I m anemic but have t taking iron in a long time.

Hi, I think it can be due to hormonal imbalances or may be perimenopausal symptom. you can take some medicines like progesterone in high doses and Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries done to find out any other cause of bleeding.
