What Causes Prolonged Pain In Arm?

I have been having serious pain in my right arm which has been diagnosed as tendonitous, but I have had this pain for 7.5 month and have had 3 shots that did not help on bit, So I would like to know if maybe this can be some type of cancer which may be hard to find
