What Causes Prolonged Periods While On Yaz Contraceptive?
I am currently on my second pack of Yaz and I skipped the placebo pills on the first pack. Now my period started and has gone on for 2 weeks now and I am on week 3 of my second pack. I spoke to my doctor and he told me to take two of the Yaz pills for 5 days. I and it still has not stopped. He told me to stop taking the Yaz and then gave me Norcolut 5 mg tabs to take. I am now timid about taking these new pills. What should I do?

Hi, I think you can take these tablets. Progesterone in high doses stop bleeding. Also take some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Hope I have answered your question.
