What Causes Prolonged Periods With Negative UPT?

Hi.my period was regular. But this month at 22nd Oct it began with very small amount. Nd it stop in 2 days.I thought may be I'm pregnant, nd its supposed to implantation bleeding.but I was wrong.I do my home urine pregnancy test,it cames negative. It was disapointig for me as wel.coz me nd my husband trying for a baby for 4 month.wer married for almost 5 years.I'm 29 nd my husband 32.I take folic acid daily.can u plz suggest me anything. Thanks

Hi,
If you have done urine pregnancy test after 7 days of missed period date and it came negative then I suggest you wait for 5 more days to get periods, if not then visit a doctor. If you have done before 7 days of missed periods then I suggest you repeat the urine pregnancy test or go for Blood Hcg test. If it is negative then visit a doctor and also get investigations like hemoglobin, thyroid test.
If you are overweight the try to reduce weight.
