What Causes Prolonged Progressive Bleeding With Clots After Discontinuing IUD?

Hello i came ofc the IUD in july.. I spotted first few weeks then I started getting a flow end on july i am still bleeding a few days ago i started bleeding very heavy were i am soaking through a tampon about 30-45 mins and a pad about the same i started passing large clots bigger than a quater about two days a go and now i have clots with tissue like connected to it. Is this normal i took a pregnancy test yestrday and it was negative i have very sore breast for pass month or so

I understand your concern.
Prolonged progressive bleeding with clots after removal of IUD could be due to 2 reasons:
1. Hormonal imbalance.
2. Pelvic inflammatory disease.
To know what could be the cause, kindly get the following investigations done.
1. Blood for FSH, LH and Prolactin levels.
2. Ultrasound scan of pelvis.
Kindly consult Gynecologist with report for appropriate management.
