What Causes Prolonged Tinnitus In Right Ear?

Hello- I am 50 years old and seem to have the morse code, tapping type of tinnitus in my right ear. It is mostly at night and in the morning. Today it seems to be lasting all day. I have a Dr appointment in 2 weeks. After searching online I am worried about clogged artery and any emergency condition before my appointment. Should I be that worried?

Hello,

I don't think you should worry that much. Simply the blocked ear by wax may cause tinnitus. Go firstly to visit an ENT doctor. The doctor will examine your ears with otoscope to check them. Do a total blood count with formula because anemia may cause tinnitus.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
