What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Unwanted Kit Pill?
How long bleeding will persist after taking pills of unwanted kit ? she has taken pills on 11th feb night and remaining 4 in successive days morning-evening one pill each. but she is having bleeding and pain till now. although bleeding is very less and not continuous but still happening. what should we do in such conditions? please reply urgently
Hello dear Understand your concern Unwanted 72 contain levonogestrol used for emergency contraception.
After taking pill bleeding will occur. it suggest pill has been worked. Bleeding and abdominal cramp should be there for 5-7 days. But it is not excessive. Your cycle become regular with in 12-15 days. But if it is excessive bleeding, there may be chance of incomplete abortion.
So if bleeding continues You should consult the gynecologist and undergo following tests: Pelvic examination USG CBC Hormonal analysis
