What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding Along With Backache And Fatigue?
I have been bleeding vaginally for about six month. I m 52 and have not gone thru menopause yet. The bleeding has been light but daily. Lately, it has gotten a little heavier...not too much. My lower back and hips ache. A dull ache. Constant. I m feeling a little more fatigued. I started having some menstral cramping. It s tolerable but uncomfortable. I have been lightheaded which comes and goes. I bruise easily too. One more thing, my vision has gotten much worse.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understand your concern. If you have been having vaginal bleeding for over 6 months, then it is a matter of serious nature. Even if the quantity is very little, this kind of a complaint can be problematic. Plus it will also lead to feeling weak and fatigued due development of anemia. My advise is to consult your local gynecologist as early as possible. It could be due to atrophic vaginitis (inflammation & thinning of the lining of vagina), thinning of uterine lining, growths in the uterus or cervix called polyps, which are usually not cancerous. Due to endometrial hyperplacia often because of hormone replacement therapy and abnormalities of cervix and uterus. Therefore, it is better if you get a proper investigation done so that appropriate treatment can be initiated and the condition is controlled. Please do take care. Thanks.
