What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding?

What seems like an implantation bleeding has been lasting for 5 days. Its turned out to be a little heavier than the first few days now( had 4-5 drops the first few days and whenever wiped with a tissue ). Is it possible that its an implantation bleeding?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Because the bleeding has lasted 5 days and was initially heavy, it is not likely that it is implantation bleeding but it is likely related to your menstrual cycle.

If you wish to determine conclusively if you are pregnant, you can consider a pregnancy test.
These are normally accurate when done day 11 to 14 after possible conception.

I hope this helps
