What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding?
Morning Doctor I have been bleeding for 3 months now.it started slowly now its heavy with some clots.I went to the hospital yesterday and was given noresthesterone pills.how long will it take to stop because im now feeling weak.the doctor said i should take one pill twice a day. thanks

Hello,
It will take around 2 days to stop bleeding after usage of Hormonal pill. Underlying cause for bleeding if present should be ruled out. For that USG pelvis scan is advisable.
In addition to Hormonal pill, Trenexemic acid tablet also should be prescribed to stop bleeding. You can check your hemoglobin level as it might be low due to bleeding and for that Ferrous Ascorbate tablet can be prescribed.
