What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Spotting After Having Periods?
Hi I am 37 140 lbs weight and 5 feet and 4 inches in height, I have a question that for three years after every period i have blood spotting and blood discharge for another one or two weeks. last year I have gone through full medical checkup and everything was fine, but sometimes i just worried about the reason
This prolonged spotting after the menses suggests that you are having hormonal imbalance. Probably you need to correct it. There are two ways: 1. You may be given Progesterone preparations for five days after which you will get bleeding, however that will be for just 4-5 days and will stop after that. This you will have to take for three cycles. 2. You may be given cyclically birth control pills to regularize your hormonal cycle. This is also give for usually three months. If you can share your full medical check up by direct questions, I can figure out whether any other advice is needed.
